HOW TO FIND US

We have incuded this item because you may not have heard of Kirklees and how to find us! Kirklees, or more strictly, the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, together with Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and Calderdale once made up the Metropolitan County of West Yorkshire. We all still exist, but unfortunately the County disappeared during one of Mrs Thatcher's reorganisations, nevertheless we regards ourselves as firmly grounded in Yorkshire, in the shadow of the Pennines. The main urban areas of Kirklees are: Batley, Dewsbury and Huddersfield but in naming these three I have probably insulted all the other urban areas that also make up Kirklees. My apologies to them. The Borough of Kirklees SC is based at the Stadium Business and Leisure Centre, which is adjacent to the award winning McAlpine Stadium in Huddersfield. In addition the Club has a base at Batley Sports and Tennis Centre.
