White Rose Junior Speedo League - 2008

BoK won the White Rose Junior Speedo League competition for the fourth year in succession at Harrogate Hydro Pool on 28th June 2008 by a margin of 80+ points from second placed City of Sheffield team. As the first placed team the Club now go forward to the Northern Area Final which will take place in October.

Examiner Sports Team of the Year

The club have recently been awarded Sports Team of the Year by The Huddersfield Examiner local newspaper as part of their Community Awards Event. The citation included selection of Kelly Robinson and Joanne Kempley to the Great Britain team competing in the Down Syndrome World Championships in Portugal in November, inclusion of Katy Venters and Lewis Dyson in the London 2012 'target' squad and the club's junior swimmers who have been national champions for the last three years.

More International Selection News!

Representative honours are coming thick and fast for Katy Venters. After the great news of her selection for GB, she has now been selected to swim for England at the Commonwealth Youth Games to be held in India in October. Again, well done!

International Selection

Katy Venters has been selected to represent Great Britain at the Tri-Nations competition in Canada. The competition is against France and Canada and takes place on the 1st and 2nd of August. This is a great result for Katy and the programme - a big congratulations to her.

London 2012 Olympics - Target Squad

Congratulations to Katy Venters and Lewis Dyson for their selection into the Target Squad for the 2012 Olympics. Further information can be found on the British Swimming site.

National Junior Speedo League Final - 2007

BoK retained their National Junior Speedo League Title for the third year in succession narrowly beating Co Liverpoool for the second year. Congratulations to swimmers, parents, supporters, team managers and thanks to the sponsors.

BoK win Northern Area Final - 2007

At the Junior Speedo League Northern Area Final, held at Harrogate on 7th October 2007, BoK won by 25 points from Southport SC in second place. The other qualifiers were Lincoln Vulcans and Co Liverpool for the National Final to be held at Wolverhampton on 26th November. Congratulation to the team and Good Luck for the final.

Yorkshire Inter County Team - 2007

Ryan Flanagan, Mathew Marshall, Katy Venters, Alicia Holdsworth & Emma Whiteley have been selected to swim for Yorkshire SA at the 2007 Inter County Competition to be held at Ponds' Forge, Sheffield on 21st October.
